Welcome to Totally Immersed TV, proudly supported by Hobie Cat Asia Pacific.
The Hobie Hotshots, once sponsored by the NSW Hobie Cat Association, was the main source of information for the Australian Hobie Class. It filled us in on upcoming regattas, reflected the antics and mischief that the Hobie Family brought to each event, and ways in which new and upcoming sailors could become part of the Hobie Family.
As we begin to re-introduce the Hobie Hotshots into the Australian Hobie Sailing, we would like to introduce one of our reoccurring segments: Totally Immersed TV, proudly supported by our great mates from Hobie Cat Asia Pacific.
In our first episode (filmed back in March), Paddy Butler, President for the NSWHCA and wordsmith, sat down with the old boy, MB, Commodore for the Vincentia Sailing Club, to have a yarn about the upcoming 50th Australian Hobie Cat National Championships. The Butler Boys discussed the release of the Notice of Race, along with the past few events that had taken place during the first half of the 2022 Australian Hobie Cat Championship Tour.
‘Now We’re Talkin” was only the first episode in the series, and a lot has happened since then. So, Cowboy and Cowgirl Sailors, get ready for more Live Action to come, as we sit down with members of the Hobie Family to yarn, reminisce and dream about what is to come.
