MULTI SERIES FORMAT

For the 2026/27 NSW Traveller Series, the NSW State Championships for the Hobie 14-Turbo, along with the Women & Youth Titles, will be held in conjunction with Mannering Park Amateur Sailing Club’s Phil Johnston 14ft Memorial Regatta. The dates of the regatta are locked in for 18-19, October ’25, two weeks after Great Lakes Sailing Club’s Wildcat Regatta.

All NSWHCA members that are planning to compete on a Hobie 14 at Manno (Cat or Turbo), entries will be opening in the coming months.

As a widely renowned event on the east coast for all 14ft Catamaran sailors, this is an open 14ft regatta that was seen the Hobie 14 (cat-rig) as the largest class in attendance for a number of years. Fletcher Warren-Myers cleaned up during the 2025 event, beating on Turbos on yardstick, along with the all time great Frank O’Rourke (Arrow).

With many NSW Hobie 14 sailors now venturing into the realm of the 14-Turbo, along with a huge number of Women & Youth sailors competing in this event, the NSWHCA Committee has decided that Manno 14s will now be classified as a State Championship level event for the 14-Turbo, and Women & Youth Divisions.

INFORMATION FOR ENTRANTS:

• The sailors who are entering on this form are: WOMEN, YOUTH (under 21), and members that are sailing a HOBIE 14-TURBO
  • Every competitor will recieve an amazing, one-of-a-kind, engraved glass.
  • Prizes engraved, YETI Tumblers, and will be awarded to podium finishers in the Turbos, Youth & Womens’.
• All entrants require ONE sailor on each boat to be financial members of the NSWHCA or affiliated State Hobie Class as per class rules. The membership form can be found HERE.
• Minimum weight will be upheld for all relevant classes as per the updated IHCA Rules (06/2025).
